The concept behind the diet

Why does this diet work so well?

Your diet is extremely important for maintaining a healthy, balanced life. Our diet is based on what we are supposed to eat, based on our genetic make up, and not based on modern day pre-packaged meals. The true real and correct diet is -

A different approach to nutrition not as a DIET, but as a proper nutritional life style.

There are certain products that were invented by men, not by nature. Can we digest them? Are they good for us? The answer, of course, is NO!

The basic idea is a -gatherer diet. Processed food, complicated food and heavily cooked food were invented only recently. Our bodies have not had a chance to adapt to them yet.

Food should be nutritious, simple and healthy. We can not feed our body junk, foods that it can not digest, foods that our body is allergic to or chemicals that are harmful. Most people forget that IT is our body that we are feeding here, that we can never “replace” with a “new” body. We all were born without the “chemistry lab” built in, to be able to assimilate all the artificial chemical “food” products on the market. All these fit under the name “UFO” (Unidentified Food Objects).

By eliminating foods that are harmful, (e.g. UFO) indigestible or slow to digest and replacing them with foods that are nutritious, easily digestible and cleansing, we allow our body to function in top shape. Please keep in mind that each molecule of food, has to be “perfect healthy cell’s nutrition”!!!

Remember, you can not put junk in and expect anything but junk to come out.

What you CAN eat and What you CAN NOT eat Fruits for breakfast – Jump start your day with nutrients, vitamins and enzymes that are so abundant in fruits.

Soy, nuts, seeds, fresh fruit and vegetables
are the easiest to digest.

Leafy vegetables, brown rice and soy are great for
your digestive system and your bodies self cleaning mechanism.
As always, you must have plenty of water with this diet.

Dairy products – What other animal do you know that drinks milk after it is weaned from it’s mother? We don’t digest dairy. Remember that the calf stands on it’s four just a few minutes after birth. Do we as babies do the same? Does it make any sense that the same nutrition that serves a new born calf weighing 20 – 30 pounds, would suit a 6 pound baby? I don’t think so.
A small baby can digest only mother’s milk, not cow mother’s milk. Or, if you like, could we feed the new born calf human mother’s milk? Funny? So is the “Dairy is good for you” theory myth.
Simple sugars – Processed sugars do not exist in nature.
They cause our body to excrete hormones that are destructive for our body and knock us out of balance.

Beef and Pork – Meat is very hard for people to digest, I think they are an absolute No No!

It forms a blockage in your system. Besides the fact that it is very high in cholesterol, it is also very high in different medications and hormones that are given to the animals, and go directly to us.

What I would highly recommend?

Ideas and customs from the Mediterranean countries, like

  1. Olive-110x174Extra virgin Olive Oil cold pressed.
  2. Garlic row as a nutritious and healthy addition and spice.
  3. Seeds, nuts and dried fruit, instead of Cake cookies and Ice cream.
  4. Brown Rice instead of bleached rice.
  5. More rice dishes then pastry, pasta, white bread and white flour.
  6. Quinoa, buckwheat and millet products serve us better than any wheat and baking goods.
  7. Snacks – Vegetables and fruit, rice cakes,instead of crackers and cheese
  8. Drink plenty of nice clean fresh water and tea, instead of pop soda or sugar loaded
    juices.
  9. Green tea, white tea and herb teas, work very well instead of coffee.
    It is even healthy for you.
  10. Beans, tofu, and lentils and peas are delicious for dinner instead of cheese
    meat and fish.
  11. Potatoes cooked in their skin are so delicious, and add nothing to our weight,
    instead of baked and fried in oil, or, lard..
  12. Mayonnaise should be substituted with Extra Virgin organic and cold pressed, Olive Oil, Lemon,Onions-120x153
  13. Sea Salt and White pepper. Mayo is very bad for the liver, and so for the whole body.
  14. Sugar can be substituted with Stevia. It may take a couple of days to adjust to the change, but it is well worth it. It can
    lead to the secret of better health.
  15. Alcohol can be passed and instead light fresh lemon, mint leaves, ginger, cinnamon etc, could be used for social gatherings,
    as beverage. Or may be just blended lemons with mint leaves and ice…. It is so refreshing tasty and healthy.
  16. Use plenty of Onions, garlic, ginger, thyme, lemon peel, Rosemarie to spice your dishes, instead of
    processed dressings and BBQ sauces.
    Tofu makes the best dips ever. The secret is: Add a whole lemon to every package of

    favorite spices.
Hemp – Natures best secret medicine for us; helps with most of the modern health problems.

The list is endless. I like the Mediterranean spices and Oils more then anything else, and they are the healthiest after all.
